Easter Week at United!
On Maundy Thursday we celebrate the Lord's Supper and Foot Washing as Jesus and his disciples did before his death. This special service is held in our Fellowship Hall. Come prepared to walk with Jesus and his disciples as we have a short devotional on the events of Maundy Thursday, sing a few songs together, observe the Lord's Supper, and participate in foot washing (shoe cleaning avaliable if preferred).
Then on Good Friday we gather for Worship Under the Cross. We spend time in prayer, sing some songs together, and hear a message from Pastor Mike as we reflect on Christ's Sacrifice for us.
On Easter Sunday we meet for a churchwide breakfast from 9:15-10:15 AM and then celebrate our risen savior in our morning worship service at 10:45 AM.
Women's Discipleship Class
Every Thursday at 1:30 women meet for a discipleship class. Everyone is welcome to join in as they discover more about God and His word.
Men's Discipleship Class
Every Tuesday evening at 7:00 and Thursday morning at 9:00, men meet at the church for coffee and a discipleship class. Everyone is welcome to join in as they discover more about God and His word.
Fellowship at UBC
We love to fellowship within our congregation
and with members of our community. There
are events planned throughout the year for this.
Agape Celebrations
Every quarter, we have an Agape Celebration.
We celebrate the Lord's Supper and new members.
We also have a potluck meal during which we have
fellowship with one another.
STEM Middle School
United Baptist tries to support the teachers at
STEM Middle School down the street.
We provide a meal for the teachers once or twice a year in
appreciation of all that they do. We also take
goodies to the teachers at various times
throughout the year. Whenever the school
has an event, we like to attend to support the
teachers and students alike.
College Student Ministries
During the year, we provide lunch for students at the
Baptist Student Union (2601 N Ben Jordan) at least once.
Different churches in the area provide this meal to college
students on Tuesdays from 11:00-1:00 during the regular
semesters. We also hand out finals survival
bags for the college students at the end of the semester.
National Night Out
Block Party
The first Tuesday in October, we have an evening
of connecting with our community and building
relationships. We partner with our local police,
fire, school and community groups to get the
community together for a night of fun, food,
and fellowship.
Drive Up Prayer
On Saturday mornings beginning at 10:00 a.m.,
there is a church member or two out in front of the
church. They are there to pray with and for anyone
who stops and asks for prayer.

National Night Out Block Party & Open House
National Night out is a nation wide campaign designed to bring communities and law enforcement together for an evening of fun. You can learn more about events happening throughout the nation here.
Join us for a night of fun, food, and community! Our goal is to build relationships with our community members and provide opportunites to connect people with resources. The Police Department engages the community with a K9 demonstration. STEM Middle School and Smith Elementary share about their programs. YoungLife shares about their ministry, and local businesses and community groups have booths and tables. Our church provides free games, hotdogs, popcorn, snowcones, and drinks.
This year we are combining this party with an open house to celebrate our recent renovations. Come check out what has been happening at United Baptist and learn more about how you can join us in our mission of sharing Jesus with our community.
Grounds & Building Improvement Project
In 2025 We made undertook some needed renovaitons to our building and property. We have added additional bathrooms, moved the offices to the front of the building, expanded our foyer and completely revamped our parking lot. All of this was done to better utilize the property for ministry and service. Take a look at the pictures to see the updates.
Christmas at United
Join us every Sunday in December as we sing Christmas carols, light the candles on the advent wreath, and prepare our hearts for Jesus' arrival. Sunday School is at 9:30 AM and our worship service starts at 10:45 AM.
Then join us on Christmas Eve night as we gather to hear the Christmas story, sing some Christmas carols together, and observe the Lord's Supper. We will end the night by singing Silent Night together by candlelight.
Agape Thanksgiving Fellowship
November 18th, 2023
On Saturday, November 18th, we had our
Agape Fellowship. Because it was in November,
we combined it with a Thanksgiving meal.
We gathered in the sanctuary at noon for a
short service. We then celebrated our new
members, sang some songs of celebration,
and had a small devotional. Then we moved
into the fellowship hall to observe the Lord's
Supper and shared a meal together as Jesus
did with his disciples.
Christmas Eve Service
We light the 4th advent candle and
celebrate with a special song. Then we hear the
Christmas story read and sing some familiar carols.
After that, Brother Jeremy brought a short message
and we observe the ordinance of the Lord's Supper
together. Lastly, the service ends in darkness with the
lighting of candles and singing of Silent Night.
Ordination Service
Sunday, September 10th, we had an ordination
service for Pastor Jeremy Prichard at 5:00 p.m.
What an exciting time in the life of a pastor
and church!
Grand Opening
On June 4th, 2023, United Baptist held its grand
opening. There was a worship service, lunch, music,
fellowship, and games!
